The Orchestra of the Finnish National Opera has moved audiences for over 60 years. Since autumn 2024, the orchestra has captivated listeners at the Helsinki Music Centre, where its unique concert series has been met with great acclaim. For instance, Helsingin Sanomat praised the orchestra’s “blazing dramatic performance” under chief conductor Hannu Lintu.

During the 2025–2026 season, the four-concert series will feature orchestral masterpieces and vocal music performed by world-renowned soloists. The program consists of works that reflect different aspects of life and deep human emotions.

At the Helsinki Festival, the orchestra will present Magnus Lindberg’s Seht die Sonne, a dazzling cosmic vision, alongside a full performance of Act II from Richard Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde.
