Guided tours

We look forward to introducing you and your group to the fascinating world of Musiikkitalo! The regular guided tour is a chance for your group to discover the building’s unique architecture, visit the spectacular Concert Hall and find out what really happens in Musiikkitalo on a day-to-day basis. What is a canopy? Can the benches in the hall have lungs? The tour can be organised to be fully accessible.

Tours are usually available Monday to Friday, 13:00–17:00. Each tour has a capacity of around 30 people. There is a minimum charge of 10 people (€150 / 190). However, if you’re visiting with a larger group, we can arrange for additional tour guides to join you. We can also offer fully accessible tours.

Musiikkitalo’s Backstage Pass Tour takes you behind-the-scenes to places that cannot be reached on the regular tours. You will hear interesting stories from backstage! Please note that this tour is not fully accessible. The tour lasts 1,5 hours. Maximum 20 persons / group. Price €19 / person.

The Musiikkitalo from Bottom to Top Tour follows the history and construction of the building, all the way, to the present day and even into the future. This tour reveals almost the whole of the Musiikkitalo, from the cellars to the views from the roof. Do you remember when Musiikkitalo was built? Do you want to see what this Mecca of Music looked like during construction? Please note that this tour is not fully accessible. The tour lasts 1,5 hours. Maximum 20 persons / group. Price €15 / person.

You can book your tour through our group sales team. Please book your tour at least one month before the visit.
