The much-anticipated summer classic for lovers of piano music takes place this year on 14 June 2026, when one of the most celebrated pianists of our time, Grigori Sokolov, will perform at the Helsinki Music Centre.

Renowned for his profound interpretations, uncompromising dedication, and dazzling technical mastery—and often described as a true titan of the piano—Sokolov enjoys a particularly warm relationship with Finnish audiences. He made his Finnish debut in 1967 at the age of just 17, having sensationally won the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow the previous summer. Since then, he has returned to Finland regularly for nearly six decades.
