Orvokki, the rising star of electronic indie music, takes the stage at Radio Helsinki Kesälive.

Orvokki, aka Orvokki Oittila, is a rising star in electronic indie music, known for her organic music and ambient spirit. “If it’s hard to describe a feeling, you can turn it into music.” Orvokki’s music provides a safe outlet for difficult emotions.

In addition to previous self-released albums, Luova Records released Orvokki’s debut album Kasvotusten (2023), which received praise, including a full five stars in a review by Helsingin Sanomat.

Free concerts are held at Musiikkitalo’s terrace on summer afternoons from Wednesday to Saturday, May 29th to Aug 3rd.

The concerts feature talented musicians from the Sibelius Academy of the University of Arts Helsinki, as well as concerts presented by HelsinkiMissio, Organ Night & Aria and World Music Centre. The genres and music vary daily: mostly classical or folk music on Wednesdays, jazz on Fridays and pop on Saturdays. On Thursdays of May and June, the program will be provided by Radio Helsinki Kesälive.
