Emmy June is a Helsinki-based singer-songwriter and Nordicana artist.

Emmy June is a Helsinki-based singer-songwriter and Nordicana artist whose music echoes the 1960’s songwriting tradition, Swedish Americana, and soulful vocals. Her timeless music takes the listener on a road trip into the sunset.

Emmy June released her debut album “The Spring” in 2023 and is currently working on her second studio album, with the first single “Old School” already released. Produced by Michael Bleu, the track showcases the artist’s renewed sound, which emerged alongside her love for playing the guitar.

Emmy June is known for her energetic live shows. She has made significant strides in her career, performing at Radio Helsinki events like Radio Kylpy + Långvik’s gig series, and her sold-out debut album concert in 2023. In fall 2024, she partnered with F-Musiikki and Ortega Guitars on a social media campaign, leading to her live guitar debut with her band at On The Rocks Helsinki.

Emmy June is a self-taught singer-songwriter who discovered her passion for songwriting in 2015 while living in Gothenburg, Sweden. “June” symbolizes her birth month, freedom from institutions, and the chance to be herself. She believes everyone has their own path to mastering their craft and that using one’s true own voice lays the foundation for an entire life.

At Musiikkitalon terassi Emmy June will be performing as a trio. The setlist includes both old songs and new, yet-to-be-released material.
