Power pop band Kristiina performs at Radio Helsinki Kesälive.

Kristiina is a power pop band founded in 2022 by Kristiina Tuhkanen, also known from the band Tamara Luonto. Kristiina combines melodic Finnish rock with classic rock music, where the narrative touches on identifiable themes such as falling in love, friendship, jealousy and death. The instrumentalists include Joni Ekman, Essi Nieminen, Hilla Kohtamäki and Joel Hyttinen.

The debut album, Palavan rakkauden aika (2023), found an immediate audience and a follow-up is expected.
