During the concert you will hear improvisation based on graphic scores, pieces based on poetry and stories from the perspective of trees. In her compositions Johanson is exploring the relationship between humans and nature. Trees emit sounds to communicate, yet we are unable to hear their frequencies or understand their words. In the concert we imagine what the world would look like from the perspective of a tree, and what would they tell us. What has the tree witnessed, what got stuck on its branches and who built their nest in it?
