UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra & Musiikkitalo

UMO’s club series continue: Tonight the focus is on the German conductor, composer Christian Elsässer and Norwegian guitar virtuoso Lage Lund.

The October UMO Club brings a European touch, as the German conductor, composer and pianist Christian Elsässer and the Norwegian jazz guitarist Lage Lund join us as the first international UMO Club guests. Having worked closely with reputed Central European orchestras (e.g. Metropole Orkest, WDR, NDR), Elsässer is one of the most versatile names in European contemporary jazz. For the October club he is planning a programme of his own compositions, focusing on the guitar virtuoso Lage Lund as well as soloists from the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra.

Please note: The venue is configured as a club, meaning that most of the venue is standing room. In addition, there is a very limited number of unnumbered seats in the hall.

The duration is about 75 minutes, without interval. No age limit.

In addition to concert-specific tickets, you can also buy a serial ticket covering the three club evenings of the autumn season.
