The organ makes planets whirl and sways the waltz; hypnotic minimalism and fiery folk dances echo from its depths. Organist of the Oratoire du Louvre in Paris, Australian-raised Sarah Kim, dazzles in the concert that brings together gems of the organ repertoire, beloved classics, and tasters of contemporary music. In Kim’s own arrangements, the orchestral works of Bartók, Ravel, and de Falla are tinted with the exquisite colour palette of the Musiikkitalo organ. Sarah Kim holds a collection of prizes from organ competitions, and she frequently performs at cathedrals and concert venues around the world.
