Nouse luonto -projekti

Nouse Luonto – lauluja monimuotoisuudesta (Songs of Nordic Biodiversity) is a unique collaboration of prominent Finnish folk musicians from Helsinki to Nuorgam. The artists have come together for a project with the aim of preserving the biological diversity of their homeland. The musicians share a deep love for nature, a belief in the power of collaboration, and admiration for the great richness of Finnish folk music. Traditional Finnish folk is filled with references to the fact that human life has long been deeply intertwined with ecosystems. Nouse Luonto is a fragment of an ancient magical spell, invoking courage and strength. But in Finnish, luonto also means nature.
