A prelude to the Aria Borealis baroque singing competition, presented by the Finnish Baroque Orchestra (FiBO), celebrating the world of baroque music.

Musicians from the Finnish Baroque Orchestra perform works by baroque favourites Tomaso Albinoni, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann and Johann Sebastian Bach.

Throughout the summer, the Musiikkitalo terrace sets the mood for baroque sounds. Around the Aria Borealis singing competition held in October, the atmosphere starts to bubble already between May and July. The Boreallas series of accompanying events offers a wide range of free experiences.

Free concerts are held weekly on the Musiikkitalo summer patio from Thursday to Saturday throughout the summer, 29 May–1 August at 5 pm. See the full summer programme at musiikkitalo.fi/en/summer-concerts.

In case of rain, the concert will take place indoors in the Musiikkitalo Main Foyer.
