Food and drink

Musiikkitalo has a café, a lunchtime restaurant, with special deals for students during the week, as well as an outdoor seating area that’s open in the summer season.

Café

Our bright and spacious café is a favourite among locals as both a social space and a quiet place for remote working. Stop by for the best coffee in Helsinki and stay for our menu featuring a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats. The café has excellent public Wi-Fi too.
On concert nights, the café stays open until the end of intermission.

Patio

When the sun is out, our patio becomes a shared living room for everyone in Helsinki, where you’ll find cold beverages and tasty eats along with a great mix of live music. Join us for a quick drink, enjoy a leisurely meal, stay for a gig or try your hand at one of the board games on offer. Our bartenders will be happy to mix you an Aperol Spritz, a Mojito or another summer favourite, while our kitchen serves up burgers and bowls alongside salmon soup, the ultimate Finnish classic.

Our patio is also available for hire and offers the ideal setting for a private celebration or company summer event.

Lunch

Lunch is served at Musiikkitalo from Monday to Friday, 11:00–14:00. Both a vegetarian and a meat dish are offered daily along with soup and a salad bar. The lunch is priced at €12. Students with a valid Finnish student ID card are entitled to a reduced rate of €2.95.

Interval refreshments

To beat the queues and to make the most of your concert visit, you can order your drinks and snacks in advance. Advance ordering also allows you to take advantage of our extended menu. Online pre-orders should be placed no later than 12.00 o’clock on the previous weekday before the event starts.

Catering services

Our menus focus on showcasing the very best and exceptionally tasty seasonal, climate-friendly and socially responsible produce. It goes without saying that every one of our menus comes in a vegan version too. We’re particularly proud of the locally sourced ingredients that
are the real star of our culinary show. Sustainable, environmentally sound and delicious. Our catering team are on hand to create memorable and exciting food and drink for your event.

Our beloved planetary home provides all our sustenance, and it is therefore our duty to care for our natural environment and climate in turn. All the food we create at Musiikkitalo is made with locally sourced ingredients, and we choose the environmentally friendly option
whenever possible. The Compass Group is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
