Six composition students delved into the world of limitless potential in the Musiikkitalo organ, and the results will be heard at this concert.

Six composition students at the Sibelius Academy of Uniarts Helsinki were given the opportunity to delve into the world of limitless potential in the Musiikkitalo organ: 7,999 pipes, 124 stops, a special division with notes between the black and white keys, adjustable wind pressure, a profusion of unique effects enabled by modern electronics and a large, 1,700-seat concert hall with superb acoustics. The fruits of the composition course organised by the Sibelius Academy are presented at a concert at the Musica nova Helsinki contemporary music festival, with six organists performing the newly written works.
