Musiikkitalo has launched new ticket sales system
Musiikkitalo’s ticket sales system has been updated during spring 2024. As a result of this update, all our events have been removed from the national Ticketmaster Suomi platform. From now on, tickets to Musiikkitalo concerts and other events will be available through our own channels: at Musiikkitalo website, by telephone and at our physical box office.
Tickets to concerts by our resident ensembles, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as performances by Sibelius Academy students will also available through their own websites.

Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra both have season tickets available for their autumn and spring seasons. For all the latest information on seasonal ticketing and terms and conditions, please visit the ensembles’ own websites: Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

All our gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The gift card can be used to purchase tickets online, at our physical box office or through our telephone box office service.
Concert Hall
Stall seats are designated with letters A to T and balcony seats with letters A to L. Please check which seating area you have chosen before proceeding with payment. The information regarding the location of your seats will be displayed in your shopping cart.
Please be aware that the Concert Hall staircases are steep, and much of the seating is built on a sharp incline. Because of this, seating areas A, B, L, M, P and R are accessed via a long set of steps. The seating closest to the stage has the highest number of steps leading to it.
Our balcony seats are located one level above the topmost stalls seating. As with the stalls, balcony seating is also available to the front, side and rear of the stage.
If you suffer from vertigo or have an aversion to heights, we recommend that you look for seating away from the balcony. Please always check which seating area you have chosen before proceeding with payment. The information regarding the location of your seats will be displayed in your shopping cart.
You can use a Concert Hall map to help you choose a seat.

You can view our floor plans before your visit.
Concert Hall
The Musiikkitalo Concert Hall has two different types of fully accessible provision: wheelchair spaces and accessible seating. These are completely step free, offering easy, level access for visitors. Our wheelchair spaces and accessible seats are located on the same level as our main entrance and can be found to the rear of seating areas C, D, E, H and J.
Our wheelchair spaces have no seating installed as they are intended for visitors who arrive in their own wheelchair and remain seated in it for the duration of the performance.
Our accessible seating is step-free but the spaces are fitted with regular seating. These accessible seats are the ideal choice for visitors who use a walker or other mobility aid and for anyone who requires step-free access.
Further inclusive seating is located near to doors 2–7 on the topmost rows of seating areas E, G, H, K, N and T. All of these seats can be accessed via just a few steps. Row 2 of galleries A, H, J and L and Row 3 of galleries D and E also enjoy level access. The galleries are accessible via a lift located to the rear of the Concert Hall.
Please be aware that the Concert Hall staircases are steep, and much of the seating is built on a steep incline. Because of the gradient, seating areas A, B, L, M, P and R are accessed via a long set of steps. The seating closest to the stage has the highest number of steps leading to it.
Check the location of wheelchair spaces and accessible seats on the Concert Hall map.
Our other auditoriums
Black Box, Organo, Camerata, Sonore and Paavo all have accessible seating located close to the entrances.
The availability of companion tickets ultimately depends on the concert and the individual event organiser. However, complimentary companion tickets are available for the majority of our events, including all concerts given by our resident ensembles, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and musicians from the University of the Arts Helsinki’s Sibelius Academy.
You can claim your complimentary companion ticket online, or request it from our physical box office or through our telephone box office service.
To book a companion ticket for a wheelchair seat online, please also select the available seat next to it. We will make a chair available for your companion in the space next to the wheelchair.
If you’re entitled to be accompanied to the concert, but you’re not a wheelchair user, you can claim a companion ticket at our physical box office. Alternatively, you can book the companion ticket by calling our telephone box office service.
We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or exchanges on tickets once they have been purchased. In the event that your concert is cancelled, we will always refund the full cost of your ticket (excluding delivery and processing fees). Musiikkitalo and the event organiser will not be liable for any other costs incurred.
Please note that Musiikkitalo and the event organiser will accept no responsibility for lost or forgotten tickets. However, it is possible to re-print your ticket if you were signed into your Musiikkitalo customer account when you made the purchase.
The ticket price includes a service fee, the amount of which is determined by the ticket price. The service fee is designed to help us cover administrative and sales costs.
The ticket prices are the same whether you buy tickets online, over the phone or at a Musiikkitalo box office. There is no separate delivery fee.
With our online customer account, you will be able to view all your online Musiikkitalo ticket purchases. Please note that any tickets purchased via Ticketmaster will not be displayed on your Musiikkitalo account.
You can also use the account to view upcoming events you have booked tickets for and to download PDF tickets onto your smartphone. You can also add your tickets to Apple Wallet (Apple only) or to Passbook (Android).

It might take a few minutes for the order confirmation to arrive in your inbox. If you can see that a payment has been taken, please check your junk mail in the first instance. You can download your PDF tickets using the order confirmation.
