Our visitor information point is always staffed during our opening hours. We can help you make the most of your visit, locate lost items or simply book you a taxi.
All lost property found at Musiikkitalo will be stored here for one month. After that, all items valued above EUR 20 will be handed to Helsinki Police Department’s lost property office.
Our box office sells tickets for all Musiikkitalo events and other Ticketmaster events. In addition to our standard opening hours, we’re also always open one hour before an event.
Tickets purchased at the Musiikkitalo box office for our in-house events incur no processing fee. However, a processing fee is payable on ticket purchases for all other events.
Helsinki Music Centre’s ticket sales system is set to be updated over the coming months. As a result of this update, all our events will gradually be removed from the national Ticketmaster Suomi platform. Once the transition is complete, tickets to Helsinki Music Centre concerts and other events will be available through our own channels. Read more about tickets

Tickets for all Musiikkitalo events can be purchased through Ticketmaster online, by telephone and in person at the box office. We recommend that you only buy tickets through these official outlets.

Payment
We accept cash, debit, Visa Electron as well as Visa, Mastercard and Maestro credit card payments. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets using your Smartum, Virike, Tyky, E-Passi, Ticket Virike, Ticket Duo and Eazy Break vouchers.
Terms and conditions of sale
We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on ticket purchases. In the event of a cancellation, we will refund the cost of your ticket, excluding any postage and processing fees, on presentation of the ticket. Musiikkitalo, Ticketmaster and the concert organiser accept no liability for any additional costs or losses incurred.
Musiikkitalo, Ticketmaster and event organisers cannot be held responsible for lost or forgotten tickets. If you signed in to your Ticketmaster account to make your ticket purchase, it will be possible to re-issue your ticket from the Ticketmaster system.
Concessions
Concessions and group discounts are often available at Musiikkitalo. All our key partners along with most other concert organisers offer free companion tickets for +1s attending with disabled concertgoers. Companion tickets can be booked by telephone and at the Musiikkitalo or any Ticketmaster box office.
Season tickets
Season tickets are available for Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra autumn and spring performances. All the latest information on season tickets is available on the orchestras’ own websites: Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Café
Our spacious and bright café is a go-to city centre destination and the perfect place to meet up with friends or drop in for some quiet work time.
We’re proud to serve the best coffee in Helsinki, and there’s always a wide range of sweet and savoury cakes and bakes for you to choose from, freshly made in our own kitchen.
High speed wifi is of course available for our guests’ use.
Patio
Our fully glazed patio is wonderful urban oasis. With plenty of outdoor heaters, stacks of cosy blankets and lashings of hot drinks to keep you warm, we stay open until late into the autumn.
The patio area is also available for private hire. Just ask us!
Make your concert experience extra special with some delicious interval drinks and snacks. At Musiikkitalo, we pride ourselves on our selection of locally sourced, high quality refreshments. To beat the queues, you can order your drinks and snacks in advance. Advance ordering also allows you to take advantage of our extended menu.
Online pre-orders should be placed no later than 12.00 o’clock on the previous weekday before the event starts.

At the ordering point before the concert begins
Lunch is served at Musiikkitalo every Monday to Friday, 11:00– 14:00. The menu changes daily, and you can always choose from a delicious meat or vegetarian main meal served with a range of freshly prepared salads. All dishes cost EUR 9.50. Students are eligible for a reduced rate at EUR 3.06 (student ID required).

How to find us
Our lunch restaurant is located on Level 3. There are two entrances to choose from, one outside at Kansalaistori Square and another indoors adjacent to the Main Foyer.

Ticketing information
A concert is the perfect way to spend some quality time with colleagues, friends or family! The easiest way to make a booking for 10–20 or more people is to contact our dedicated group sales team by email at ryhmat@musiikkitalo.fi or by telephone on 020 707 0426 (Monday to Friday, 10:00–14:00). Depending on your preference, you can purchase your pre-booked group tickets at our box office, or we can issue an invoice and send them to you.
Call charges: 8.35 cents/call + 16.69 cents/min.
Calls from abroad: relevant international call charge.
We also offer 10% off our cloakroom fee for groups. The cloakroom tickets can be purchased from our box office or invoiced and sent to you with the concert tickets.

Discounts for groups
The Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and The Sibelius Academy offer a 20 % discount on all standard tickets for groups of 10 or more. The discount for The Radio Symphony Orchestra tickets is 10%. Please, note that these discounts do not apply to concession tickets, including tickets for OAPs and students. Discounts may be offered by other third-party concert organisers.
Payment by invoice
If you would prefer to receive an invoice for your tickets, please provide a billing and delivery address when placing your order. You can also collect your pre-paid tickets from our box office if this is more convenient.
Guided tours of Musiikkitalo
A pre-concert guided tour of Musiikkitalo is a wonderful opportunity to discover this unique building in greater depth and will allow you to enjoy the musical experience even more. During the hour-long tour, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at how the building really works and learn more about the architecture. Public tours

During the regular guided tour, we’ll show you what happens daily at Musiikkitalo, introduce you to the architecture and take you into our spectacular Concert Hall. This tour lasts 1 hour.
Musiikkitalo’s Backstage Pass Tour takes you behind-the-scenes to places that cannot be reached on the regular tours. You will hear interesting stories from backstage!
Please note that this tour is not fully accessible. The tour lasts 1,5 hours.

Group tours
We look forward to introducing you and your group to the fascinating world of Musiikkitalo! The regular guided tour is a chance for your group to discover the building’s unique architecture, visit the spectacular Concert Hall and find out what really happens in Musiikkitalo on a day-to-day basis. What is a canopy? Can the benches in the hall have lungs? The tour can be organised to be fully accessible.
The tour lasts 1 hour.
Maximum 30 persons / group. Price €10 / person.
Tours are usually available Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. The tours are priced at EUR 10 per person, with a minimum charge of EUR 100. Each tour has a capacity of around 30 people. However, if you’re visiting with a larger group, we can arrange for additional tour guides to join you. We can also offer fully accessible tours.
You can also complement your experience with some refreshments. Our light-filled Main Foyer is the perfect place to relax before or after your tour. And if you’re touring the building at 17:00, why not put the finishing touch to your evening with a concert. Get in touch to find out more!

The Musiikkitalo from Bottom to Top Tour follows the history and construction of the building, all the way, to the present day and even into the future. This tour reveals almost the whole of the Musiikkitalo, from the cellars to the views from the roof. Do you remember when Musiikkitalo was built? Do you want to see what this Mecca of Music looked like during construction? Please note that this tour is not fully accessible. The tour lasts 1,5 hours. Maximum 20 persons / group. Price €18 / person.
Tours are usually available Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. There is a minimum charge of 10 people (€100 / 180).

School visits
Musiikkitalo offers free guided tours to primary and secondary schools, high schools and vocational schools in Finland. Tours last 45 minutes and are a chance for students to find out about the building’s architecture, visit the Concert Hall and discover what really goes on here day-to-day. Find out more below.
Musikhuset är också barnens hus: klasser kan boka en presentation eller konsertbiljetter. Dagisbarn är välkomna till våra barnkonserter. Konsertsalens scen är Finlands största trumma – kom och testa hur den låter!
Presentationer för skolelever
Musikhuset ordnar gratis guidade vandringar för skolklasser och andra stadiets studerande. Under den 45 minuter långa vandringen presenteras Musikhusets verksamhet och arkitektur samt Konsertsalen. I vandringen ingår inte musik.
Endast en klass i sänder kan delta, och en övervakare ska följa med. Före besöket kan klassen stifta bekantskap med symfoniorkestern med hjälp av YLE:s orkestermaskin (på finska) eller denna artikel av HSO.

Konserter och generalrepetitioner
En konsert säger mer än tusen ord! Helsingfors stadsorkester och Radions symfoniorkester erbjuder gratis biljetter till generalrepetitioner åt grupper med skolelever och studerande. Reservera på förhand direkt från orkestrarna: Helsingfors stadsorkester och Radions symfoniorkester.
Äldre skolelever samt studerande kan delta i Sibelius-Akademins gratis matinéer där också de som uppträder är unga. Boka plats hos matinéns arrangör; tidpunkter och kontaktuppgifter hittar du i vår evenemangskalender.

Ostinato is the Nordic countries’ foremost purveyor of sheet music and musical literature.
First established by a small but enthusiastic group of music students in 1979, this independent store specialises in classical music. Our experienced and highly knowledgeable staff maintain an exhaustive collection of sheet music and will be happy to track down whatever you’re looking for, whether you’re an instrumentalist or vocalist and whether you’re tackling a concerto, opera or symphony. Sibelius Academy students will find an excellent selection of textbooks and other essentials to see them right through their studies.

The library’s vast collections cover all arts subjects taught and researched at the Sibelius Academy. It is also open to members of the public.
